1. Who we are

Shinevia Cleaning Service ("we", "us") provides domestic and commercial cleaning across London and Greater London. We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.

2. What we collect

When you build a quote or contact us we collect the details you give us: your name, phone number, postcode, the description of your property, your preferred date, and anything you write in the notes field. If you contact us on WhatsApp, that conversation is also processed by WhatsApp under their own privacy terms.

3. Our quote builder

Our quote builder runs entirely in your browser. Nothing is sent anywhere until you press "Send this quote on WhatsApp" — at which point the message is handed to WhatsApp and sent to us. We do not store your quote on a server. Your chosen language is remembered in your browser so the site loads in it next time.

4. Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site — for example, which pages are most popular — so we can improve it. This is optional: when you first visit, we ask whether you accept or reject analytics cookies, and nothing analytics-related loads until you choose "Accept". If you reject, no analytics cookies are set and no usage data is collected. You can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer. Google Analytics processes this data under Google's own privacy terms; we have enabled IP anonymisation. Essential functions of the site work the same either way.

5. Why we use it

To give you a price, arrange a visit, carry out the clean, and invoice you. That's it. We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for marketing.

6. How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't become bookings are deleted within 12 months. Booking and invoice records are kept for six years, as required by UK tax law.

7. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@shinevia.uk and we'll respond within 30 days. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
